Your Customer's Checkout Flow Just Got Even Easier 🍳 + Discount Code Usage Limits!
New customers can now use Apple Pay or Google Pay when checking out and prices are now shown next to available memberships for clarity. Plus, set global usage limits for discount codes.
Checkout Flow Enhancements
We know that one of the most crucial parts of winning new customers comes down to the moment when they’re making their first booking or purchase. Any small confusion or frustration could lead to a potential customer giving up and going elsewhere. This is why we’ve put so much attention into making the checkout flow as smooth and efficient as possible, and we’ve just added two more updates to keep closing the barrier between new customers and your business.
Apple & Google Pay are now accepted through the POS - now you never have to worry about a customer giving up on booking because they couldn’t find their wallet (or it’s in the other room while they’re trying to book from their couch 😅). With the addition of Apple Pay and Google Pay to our checkout flow, making a first purchase at your business has never been easier! Also note that, from your end, a customer’s card number will still be saved for future purchases or renewals if they use one of these options. No need to turn anything on - these payment options appear automatically on all of your checkout pages.
Prices listed next to membership upgrades - another addition to the checkout flow is that prices of memberships now show within the purchase bubble in the Explore available memberships section. We added these in to provide clarity for new customers, so their first time booking something at your business is as easy as possible.
Set Global Usage Limits for Discount Codes
You now can set Global Usage Limits for discount codes, meaning that you can set the total number of times a particular code can be used across all customers.
For example:
You want to run a Black Friday deal where the first 25 people get 20% off of an annual membership
You have an upcoming training and want to do an early-bird special discount for the first 5 people to sign up.
Note that you can still have a usage limit per customer as well.
You can find this new setting for Discount codes under Studio set-up > Discount codes > Create > select Limited Usage limit > Usage globally.
