🛍️ Retail Products and Gift Cards can be Sold on the Mobile App!

Enhance your product and gift card sales by making them available for purchase on the mobile app - just in time for the holiday season!

Holiday season is a great time to promote and push sales on retail products and gift cards. Everybody loves the gift of new swag from their favorite studio, and gift cards are the perfect way to have your customers promote your studio by gifting classes to a friend. This season, buying these items has never been easier for your clients since we just launched Products and Gift cards on the mobile app!

Read below for more details of how to get these turned on, then make sure your customers update their apps and get selling!

Sell Retail Products on the Mobile App

Your customers can now buy products directly from the app! Once they have logged into the app and selected your business page, customers will see a Products tab on the top right. Within this section, they will have access to purchasing any visible products using cash, credits, or credit cards.

You can select which if any, products are sellable through the app using the Display in online store toggle within the settings for each product. This is also where you will have the ability to select which product category an item goes under - which will show up as sub-tabs within the products page - and if you will allow for shipping.

If you want to make any adjustments or add products to your online store, navigate to Studio set-up > Retail products > select the product to edit. Please note: customers will need to update their app to see this new function!

Sell Gift Cards on the Mobile App

Your customers can also now purchase gift cards directly from the mobile app! Once they have logged into the app and selected your business page, they can slide the top navigation bar over to see the Gift cards tab.

You can enable and manage this tab from your Gift card creation page. On this page, you can create pre-set gift card values for customers to choose from (i.e. $25, $50, $100) and decide if custom values can be selected or not.

Note that Allow customers to create their own gift cards must be toggled ON for the gift cards tab to appear in the app. If you already have this option turned on (and have the link shared with customers somewhere), the settings you previously chose will automatically appear in the app for your customers.

To turn on gift cards and choose your settings navigate to: Studio set-up > Gift cards > Gift card creation page.
