Introducing sequence triggers for when a customer is referred and when a tag is added to a customer.
Customer Referred Trigger
Customer referrals is one of the most reliable and impactful ways to attract new clients to your business. Think about it - imagine you have been wanting to try out pilates but have been stuck in indecision from all the options in your city. If someone you know and trust is raving to you about their favorite reformer studio in town, your decision just got a whole lot easier. Even more, if your friend tells you they can get you a special offer for being their referral - that’s a no brainer!
However, let’s say you get super excited and immediately register using your friend’s referral link, only to remember that you are leaving town tomorrow for a few weeks. There’s a chance that you get back and jump right on booking your first class, yet, there’s also a big chance that you get distracted from your time away, and that pilates studio falls off your radar. That is where our new Customer referred trigger comes into play.
With this new sequence trigger, you can set up a series of messages to ensure that no customer referrals are slipping through the cracks (need a refresher on how to set up customer referrals in Momence? When setting up your sequence, you may want to have the first message go to every referred customer as they create their account, and then you can set counter conditions to remove anyone once they’ve purchased a class or membership, so the rest of the messages only follow up with referrals who have yet to book.
Begin using this trigger under Marketing > Sequences > Customers > Customer Referred.
Tag Added to Customer Trigger
Have you ever had a case where you wanted to add a group of customers to a sequence, but not based on a particular action that they took? For example, let’s say you are launching your newest retreat, but you want to give a select group of your top customers access to book it first, and you want to send this special group three reminders before opening the retreat up to everyone.
Now, with the launch of our new Tag added to customer trigger, you can do this in the most efficient way! By creating a sequence with this trigger, you can tag anyone from your customer list that you choose to get them added - and you can bulk tag them all at once, or choose to tag at various times. The ability to use our sequences for scenarios like this - versus scheduled one-off messages - allows you to use counter-conditions to remove customers automatically once they buy the retreat (or whatever you are messaging about) so no one receives redundant messaging.
There are countless other creative ways that you can use this new trigger to make your business run more efficiently. A few examples are: tagging customers as ‘advanced’ and sending targeted messaging about new perks they get; creating a sequence with a customer feedback survey and reminder emails, and only including customers with over 100 visits; having a set of emails about pre/postnatal tips that trigger anytime you or your staff members learn of a customer being pregnant and tag them.
