New G4 Google Analytics Integration ๐ ๏ธ for Tracking Checkouts & Purchases
Want to track checkout page activity and purchases in G4 Google Analytics? Now you can with our new integration.
You can now track Google Ad conversions using our seamless integration with GA4. Primarily this will allow you to automatically track events like page views, clicks, scrolls, and other metrics tied to a particular session on your checkout pages, so you can see where people are abandoning your checkouts. Additionally, you can track purchases made on your website in google analytics, enabling you to see overall what revenue looks like, what items were purchased, what the items cost, and what the source of each conversion is.
With cross-domain tracking, youโll be able to view source-based reporting to see which ad campaigns have better ROI. Your conversions will be tracked from the ad, through your website (where the Momence plugin lives), and into your checkout pages.
To set up the primary tracking for your Google Analytics G4 integration, find your GTM ID on your Google Tag Manager configuration page, then in Momence go to Settings > General set-up > Google Tag Manager ID and input there.
