Exciting Updates to 🗓️ Appointment Booking + ♻️ Reorder Waitlists
Allow customers to book recurring appointments; allow appointment bookings only at a specific time each hour; plus you can now reorder your waitlists when needed!
Customers Can Book Recurring Appointments
We know clients often want to come for appointments at the same time every week. Consistent scheduling makes planning their days easy and allows for positive habits to form, plus it’s incredibly valuable for your business to know that you’ll be receiving consistent revenue week after week!
While we’ve had the ability for you to book recurring appointments for clients on your end, you now have the option to turn on recurring bookings on the customer's side. This new function eliminates the time you and your client spend on rescheduling logistics, allowing you to maximize the time you spend on your actual session.
Note that this setting is at the Service level, so you can choose to have it on for certain services and off for others. To turn recurring bookings on for any appointment service, navigate to Appointments > Services > Edit selected service > toggle on Allow recurring booking by customers.
Allow Appointment Bookings At Specific Times Each Hour
Running an appointment-based business can get challenging when you have customers booking at varying times, creating awkward gaps in your schedule. If you have an 8-hour day and want to fit eight 50-minute appointments in, it would have previously taken some maneuvering on your end to make it happen.
But gone are those days! With our newest appointment setting, Allow bookings only at a specific time each hour, you can select when customers can book appointments (i.e. top of the hour, quarter past, half past, or quarter till), so all of your appointments fall into place, and the maximum number of bookings can happen, without you having to worry.
You can turn this setting on under Settings > Appointment settings > Allow bookings only at a specific time each hour.
Reorder Waitlists
Having autonomy over your class lists is important for obvious reasons. However, having full control over your waitlists doesn’t always get as much attention. But we understand that there can be many instances where having the power to reorder your waitlist can be incredibly valuable like:
Someone is at the studio waiting vs. others on the list who are not there physically
Someone asked to be added to the waitlist for an upcoming class but you forgot to do it at that moment and now 3 additional people have signed up ahead of them.
Well, luckily, now you have full access to reordering your waitlists anytime you need!
