đ¨Action Required: Verify Your Email Domain
Letâs talk email.
As you all already know, email communication is one of the top ways to stay in touch with your customers. And, in our tech-forward, always-on-the-move world, the ability to send bulk emails is actually vital to a companyâs success.
Momence makes sending and receiving emails easy and we are committed to keeping this up! Due to recent changes in email deliverability rules, you will need you to verify your email domain.
Most email providers (think gmail, yahoo, etc.) are now requiring full domains to be verified in order to safely deliver bulk emails. Previously, you were only required to verify a single email address. Now, domain verification is required. (Note: failing to take action may result in emails you send landing in customerâs spam boxes, or even bouncing completely.)
Beginning today, you will be prompted to verify your email domain through your dashboard. Action is required!
Hereâs how: first, navigate to Settings while logged into your account and click on Marketing suite settings. (If you donât see the Marketing suite settings option, you donât have the marketing suite enabled and donât have to take action. You can enable the marketing suite under Marketing > Sequences in your dashboard.) Once there, scroll down to âVerify your email domainâ and follow the steps below:
Step 1: Add your domain. E.g. âmomence.comâ and click Save domain
Step 2: Copy the generated subdomain under âCreate your mail subdomainâ (e.g. âmail.momence.comâ) and create the subdomain in your domain provider. Step 2 will have instructions on how to do so for each of the major domain providers.
Step 3: In step 3 of the guide, youâll add DNS records to your domain. This step will have information on how to add the DNS records for each major domain provider. Copy the DNS records from your Momence Dashboard, and follow the instructions to complete this step. Once this is done, we will verify these records and the status check will turn green as shown below. Bear in mind this verification may take up to 72 hours.
Step 4: Once the previous step has been completed and the DNS records are verified, the final step is to set the sender email address youâll use to send emails to your customers. E.g. âmarketing@momence.comâ. Now your email domain is fully verified!
